Since 2020, YDI has had one goal, to uplift the design scene across spectrums. Today we are the largest support network for Indian designers. Our community is a place for young talent to interact with seasoned professionals to learn and grow. With micro events and informal gatherings taking place every week, we are day by day tackling conversations around design career, education and the future of design.

Over the last three years of existence, YDI has become a companion to design studies and a getaway for designers living abroad. With friendships brewing across borders on our online platform, we are creating a healthy, connected ecosystem of Indian designers by empowering them with tools, resources, professional network and advice.

Your Unfair Advantage

YDI was founded in 2020 by Sushant Vohra and is now led by a team of community leaders.
Our lean group of volunteers are a team of hyper talented and involved desi designers who keep the server running and manage all parts of the YDI multiverse. We call them Spearheads but also the 'Happy vibe enforcers'.
