Job Description:


We are seeking a talented and experienced Embroidery Digitizer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of embroidery techniques and software, and be able to translate designs into high-quality, machine-readable formats. This role requires a meticulous eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.


Responsibilities:


  • Digitize designs: Convert artwork (logos, illustrations, patterns, etc.) into embroidery machine-readable formats such as .dst, .jef, .pes, etc.

  • Ensure high-quality output: Optimize stitch counts, densities, and underlays to achieve the best possible embroidery results.

  • Meet deadlines: Deliver digitized files within agreed-upon timelines.

  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with designers, product developers, and production teams to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Iterate and refine designs: Incorporate feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs based on brand specifications and production requirements.

  • Stay updated: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies in embroidery digitization.

  • Maintain accurate records: Document all projects and maintain a digital archive of digitized files.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as an Embroidery Digitizer (minimum [number] years)

  • Proficiency in embroidery software such as Wilcom, Pulse, or similar

  • In-depth knowledge of embroidery techniques, stitches, and underlays

  • Strong understanding of color theory and design principles

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adapt to different design styles and brand aesthetics

  • Portfolio showcasing a range of successful embroidery digitization projects (preferred)

  • Experience with 3D embroidery
