Visual Designer, Imagitime

We’re looking for a detail-driven Visual Designer and Generative AI Illustrator who can create captivating visuals that bring stories to life and connect with people. What you’ll do:

In this role, you will combine your design expertise and AI skills to create breathtaking picture book illustrations that bring stories vividly to life. Your talent for visual storytelling, crafting precise and imaginative prompts, and rapidly iterating on designs will be pivotal in transforming our personalized books into captivating works of art. Collaborating closely with a team of writers and designers, you’ll ensure every visual element aligns seamlessly with the narrative and project objectives.

What you’ll bring

- A creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to tell stories through visuals

- Proficiency in typography, color theory, digital illustration and composition

- The skills to refine and enhance AI-generated illustrations using design tools like Photoshop and Canva

- Analytical skills to craft effective prompts and rapidly experiment and iterate

- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and techniques

Bonus points for

- Experience with MidJourney or similar AI-based design tools to create high-quality, detailed illustrations

- Prior experience in book illustration, print media or publishing

- A passion for exploring the latest trends and technologies in AI art
